• What is Task-Validator?
  Task Validator is a plugin to your current IDM deployment (preferably deployable in the Development environment) that allows you to validate tasks in terms of their adherence to the best practices that the IDM product encourages for coding in Xpress.
• I am seeing too many errors. Is my code that bad?
  Based on the level of validation (INFO, WARNING, ERROR), the tasks in the repository are scanned using standard Sun IDM API's to find occurrences of code that recommends or mandates correction. If you are seeing too many "errors", you may try changing to level to a more severe one (such as ERROR). In many cases, the "errors" you see may be recommendations visible with an INFO or WARNING level, which are not mandatory to "fix".
• How do I fix these errors?
  While INFO's and WARNING's are not mandatory to be rectified, it is advisable that you follow the best practices defined for Sun IDM. You may use the Sun documentation, Sun forums or the Articles / Forum section to discuss and improve your code-base. If however, you see ERROR's, you should fix them to avoid run-time exceptions in your customizations.
