• What is Import-All?
  Import-All is a plugin to your current IDM deployment that allows selection and import of multiple IDM exchange files without doing it individually.
• But I can already do it through the "Import Exchange Files" tab or the LH console..?
  Yes, Sun IDM has already provided a way to import xml files into the IDM repository. However, the "Import Exchange Files" allows import of xml files only one at a time. The LH console is a command-line tool that can also be used for this purpose. Import-All has the advantages of being GUI-based, easy to work with, no manual command-line input and easy-to-spot feedback about failures in importing xml files with erroneous code, all while you are already logged into the IDM administrative web-based console through any web-browser.
• Why do I need the Flash-plugin for my browser?
  Selection of multiple files through a web-browser is currently not supported by plain HTML. Applets allow this, but it adds more complexity of signing the applet in order to access the file system. Flash on the other hand, offers aesthetic GUI and adds no complexity to install and use this plugin. For more details, click here.
