Hi,

I'm trying to configure IDM to create Exchange 2007 Mailboxes.

Here's what I did so far :

(a) I ticked the Exchange 2007 Checkbox;

(b) I added these attributes to my Schema :

userPrincipalname
RecipientType
Database

For the userPrincipalname, I stated in the following format : "michael.jackson@myhome.local"

For ReceipientType, I wrote "UserMailbox"

For Database, I stated the proper syntax : Server\StorageGroup\MailboxDatabase

When I tried to create the User, I got the following error :

Unable to set user info: 'The name provided is not a properly formed account name'

Any idea what this error is referring to?

Thanks

Stephen,

Please refer to the following links:

http://72.5.124.102/thread.jspa?messageID=10688753 (mentions that DN is case-sensitive)
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326985  (it could be a logon error - check the resource configuraiton in IDM)

Dear Adi,

thank you.  Actually, the problem lay with the Schema mapping.

I solved that problem. Now, I am getting another one :

Error : Unable to locate Database. Make sure you typed the name correctly.

I know I typed the name of the Database correctly. I checked it a dozen times.
